Brice and I were originally planning on traveling to Scottsdale for some business meetings, but we decided to turn it into yet another one of our mini travel adventures — meeting friends we’ve connected with on Instagram and sneaking in a little anniversary getaway to celebrate 13 years of marriage.

In celebration of summer, we're throwing it back to Season 2, Episode 6 for a special recap of Pete and Lorraine's "Big Backyard Reno" in Franklin, Tennessee. This couple has decided to host their upcoming wedding nuptials at home. They need Brooke & Brice's help to create an updated backyard paradise that is both inviting and warm, but also keeps in tune with their earthy, log-cabin style home and surroundings.

We got up and had one final breakfast at our beautiful hotel in Kyoto, which we were very sad to leave. But we needed to get back to Tokyo for the last four days of our journey! We rode the Bullet Train back to Tokyo. We snacked on lobster chips, enjoyed Brice's favorite matcha ice cream, and counted our blessings for the couple hours long train ride. We're finally starting to get our bearings in this country! And the view of Mt. Fuji from the train was otherworldly.
